Purpose: This is about Understand and manage emotions, and feel and show empathy for others.
Materials: Feelings cards. Print off face cards available on line. Google feeling cards.
Setting: Group circle
Facilitator Information: Each person gets a feeling card and without talking gets others to guess what they are feeling. A variation is to give them a scene to act out and they can only use their certain emotion. For example, they find a broken bike and have to react with their emotion.
Say something like: We are going to play feelings charades. I wonder if it is easy to figure out people’s feelings? Each get a feeling and you get to act it out.

Frame: We are going to play this and after talk about how to help others with feelings.
After activity reflection:
What happened with guessing feelings? Easy with some, difficult with others?
So what did we learn about figuring out others feelings?
Now what can we do to support others when they are dealing with the feelings we acted?
What happened with trying to nonverbally communicate your feelings?
So what did you learn about nonverbal communication?
Now what do differently, if we are experiencing any of these feelings?
